Episode® 500 Series LCR Speaker
These Episode® 500 Series LCR Speakers are bookshelf versions of our popular 500 Series Speakers, designed for use as a left, center, or right (LCR) channel to provide room-filling performance in a compact package. The 500-series is our most versatile, with nearly a dozen different models timbre-matched for seamless system design. This versatility, combined with performance levels that exceed anything in its class, makes the Episode® 500 series the perfect answer for a variety of installation needs.
Rock Solid Construction
The first thing you'll notice when you pick up an ES-500-LCR is that they're heavier than you'd expect. But there's no shortcut to creating a rock-solid cabinet; it takes heavy materials like ½" MDF. And a rock-solid cabinet doesn't resonate and create unwanted distortion. So while the weight may be the first thing you notice about this speaker, it's the clear, dynamic sound that you'll remember.
Surprising Bass Response
Like all speakers in the ES-500 series, the ES-500-LCR utilizes an injection molded polypropylene woofer for quick, accurate bass. Low frequency response is further enhanced with a precision-tuned, tapered port. The net result of this work: Bass that has no right coming from such a small package.
Furniture-Quality Finish
A multi-layer painting and clear coat finish provide the ES-500-LCR with a rich, glass-like finish. Available in black or white, and combined with the modern aesthetics of the cabinet design, these attractive speakers compliment any décor.
Mounting Brackets Included
Simply replace any of the 4 screws adjacent to the gold-plated 5-way binding posts with the included mount for a low-profile solution for nearly any installation. When mounted, these speakers sit ¾" off the wall, eliminating any interference with the tuned bass port.
