Binary™ Single Cat 5e/6 HDMI 3D Extender (130') with Wall Plate Receiver & IR Pass Through
As displays get thinner and thinner, finding places behind the screen to hide HDMI extenders and power supplies gets tougher and tougher. Cut the clutter and get a cleaner install with the Binary™ Single Cat 5e/6 HDMI 3D Extender. It transmits full HDMI 3D and bidirectional IR up to 130 over a single Cat5e/6 cable. The recessed, in-wall receiver makes the most out of the shrinking space behind TVs, providing room for bulky connectors. It even has a remote powering option to eliminate the need
for a power supply behind the TV. Sometimes, the best things really do
come in small packages.

Important Notice: To simplify installation, we have made a running design change to this product. Power is no longer supplied to the transmitter s IR input, meaning you don t need to use the IR dongle when connecting it to a control system. Power is still supplied at the receiver s IR input for quick connection of an IR receiver. Also, we ve updated the IR circuitry board to accept from 3.5V to 12V to provide broader support of various IR systems.

Important Notice: This product does not fit metal junction boxes. Instead, we recommend using our single gang trim ring – Item# LV1. Shielded CAT5e/CAT6 and shielded RJ45 connectors are strongly recommended for this product. Unshielded or improperly terminated cables may be susceptible to video dropout problems from ceiling fans and other EMI issues. Please note: for proper shielding, shielded connectors must be used with drains connected at both ends. In addition, “EZ end” connectors are not recommended for use with HDMI extenders.

Important Notice: Binary 1 Cat HDMI extenders use a 5 Volt DC power supply. Binary HDBaseT extenders use a 24 Volt DC power supply, and matrix switchers with integrated Cat 5 extenders use 12 Volt DC supplies. Using any 12 or 24 Volt DC power supply with any 5 Volt Binary products will result in damage to the product and possibly the power supply. Be sure to use the correct power supply with the correct product!

HDMI® (with 3D)
This extender offers full support of HDMI® (with 3D), Deep Color and HDCP 2.0, as well as support for Dolby® True HD, Dolby® Digital Plus, DTS™-HD Master and LPCM audio formats.

Bi-Directional IR
Over the same CAT5e cable, you can easily send commands from a control system to the TV – and simultaneously control DVD players, cable boxes and other source equipment from the TV location. For best performance, use Episode® IR flashers and receivers.

Remote Powering
If there's no outlet near your receiver, or you just don't want to play "hide the bulky power supply," you can remotely power the extender. Everything you need is in the box - the removable screw terminal and the female power supply adapter - so just add a 16- or 18-gauge 2-conductor wire, and you're ready go. The power supply can easily go in a rack or other out-of-the-way place.

Locking Power Plug
Our in-line power supply has a screw lock to secure the power to the unit. No more worries about service calls just because the plug fell out when the TV was moved.
 
Need more powering versatility?
To simplify the install even further you can use a single power supply for both transmitter and receiver. Just purchase our WPS-ACC-PWR-F and WPS-ACC-PWR-1X2.
 
A Perfect Fit
Having more options is never a bad thing. That s why this wall plate receiver is specifically designed to fit any single-gang J-box. It comes with a basic white decora plate, but you can swap it out for whatever color matches the install.

Built-In ESD and Surge Protection
Intelligent circuit design, perfected through extensive hardware testing, has resulted in a very robust product with excellent ESD and surge protection that exceeds CE Level 3 standards. During development, every connection was tortured with an ESD gun and a lightning simulator. They were hit with ESD at 15KV and surges up to 2500V. More important, though, they each lived to tell about it!
